McClendon Designs is the culmination of a love for all things fashionable. Artist and designer, Laura’s  passion stems from a childhood in New Orleans. She would remove colorful glass beads caught from Mardi Gras parades to create her own designs. Laura's creativity started at an early age having learned from her mother, Nell. McClendon  Designs was launched in 2010, naming her collection after the  uptown streets of New Orleans, where she lived until Hurricane Katrina.

Inspired by textures, stones and metals, Laura uniquely combines these elements into pieces that reflect her love of style and fashion. Over twenty-five  stores now carry McClendon Designs. Laura individually designs and crafts each of her pieces by hand, combining natural stones, raw elements, and gold. She is most known for her one-of-a-kind McClendon Designs  cuff bracelets that were launched in 2012.

As a self-taught designer, Laura resides in St. Francisville, Louisiana.
